From the Vision Team
Hello Church Family,
As we look forward to our nation’s 250th the anniversary and celebrate with bright and beautiful fireworks displays, Marysville United Methodist Church is also looking to update our “Bright and Beautiful” displays. Getting our wonderful and powerful message, “All are Welcome, All are Loved” out to everyone is so important and we need the right tools for the job. Our “Bright and Beautiful” projects list includes several new technologies that would improve visibility and audio quality for getting the message out to our congregation and our larger Marysville community. Potential projects include:
Replacing the MUMC sign and reader board on 64th Street with a state-of-the-art LED sign that presents vibrant and dynamic images and messages to thousands of our neighbors who commute along that corridor daily
Upgrading our sanctuary projector and screen to increase the resolution and color quality of our weekly worship experience
Replacing microphones to improve the sound quality of our Worship Band to share their wonderful music in our sanctuary
Now, new technologies can be expensive, so to achieve any of these projects we would need to raise at least $60,000 this July. We have great news! Several families in our congregation are feeling called to support these “Bright and Beautiful” projects and have generously offered to provide a dollar-for-dollar match on the first $20,000 raised. That means we could get two- thirds of the way to the minimum goal with just $20,000 of new gifts from you, our congregation.
If you are excited about getting our great message out there and believe that newer “Bright and Beautiful” technologies can help, please consider making a donation to these efforts. You can make your gift in several ways: online through our website Body and select “Bright & Beautiful/AV Systems Project”; scan the QR code to access online giving; or you can drop a check in the offering plate with the note
“Bright & Beautiful”. We are looking to start these projects in August so we can take full
advantage of the benefits in the fall, so if you can provide your gift or a pledge for your gift
this month, that would be great. If you have any questions, please contact Bret Rodeheaver
our Vision Team Chair at rodeheavers4@gmail.com and he can provide you with more details.
“All are Welcome, All are Loved” is such an important and powerful message. Let’s give ourselves the right tools to share that message and show our community how “Bright and Beautiful” being part of Marysville United Methodist Church can be.
