Good Friday Soup Supper & the Seven Last Words of Christ, April 3 from 6:00 -8:00 pm Good Friday is the day we remember Jesus’ death on the cross. It is a difficult day, not just because it is sad, but also because it is complex. In our four gospel books, there are seven different things that Jesus says during his crucifixion. On Good Friday, April 3rd, we are invited to reflect on each of these seven messages and meanings of the cross. Instead of a traditional worship service, worshipers will walk around the sanctuary, reading these Seven Last Words of Christ and engaging in brief practices to help us reflect on what Jesus did for us. Join us between 6 and 8 pm on Friday, April 3rd. A simple soup supper will also be offered in the Green Room at the same time. You are invited to come at a time convenient to you.
