Easter People: Disciples

Luke 24:13-35

This Sunday, we hear about the disciples after Easter on The Walk to Emmaus. They were hearing all these rumblings of Jesus death and resurrection but still seemed to be going down the wrong road. Then Jesus appeared, they didn't recognize him at first., they thought he was  s stranger.  "How many times have we skipped on by God because we we were sure we knew what God looked like, and how God acted, and where God shows up? God is surprising. God will show up and surprise us. So if we keep our hearts ope, we will see God. "
