Luke 2:25-38 NRSVUE

On this second week of the Wisdom and Wonder summer sermon series, Pastor Meredith preaches on the  scripture from  Luke 2:25-38. Anna is a prophet, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. Anna is old, and she sees the future of Israel.  She is not invested in the past, but in helping people embrace the messiah for a future of freedom and new life. 

We also hear from one of our elders in the church who is 103 years old. What her life has been like, what she has seen, learned and how hope in God has brought her through.
