childrenChildren are celebrated by Jesus as well as Marysville United Methodist Church! We know how children love to stay busy, be silly, and play. So that's what children's ministry looks like here!
Children are regarded as Little Disciples with equal value in our community. We are deliberately respecting each of those little hearts as we know they already have the capacity of interacting with the Divine. Therefore we structure ourselves with these priorities: to keep your children safe, smiling, and then encourage them to investigate their Savior for themselves. We have a skilled team of believers who are passionate about making faith come alive in the heart of a child through interactive, age appropriate play and even sneaking in some education. infants + toddlersAll children are welcome in our worship services. We want you to feel comfortable in bringing your young children to church with you so we give you several options to choose from:
1. Drop off your children in the Nursery before service begins. 2. Keep your children with you through Children's Time, then bring to Nursery. 3. Keep your children with you for the entire worship service. Infants and toddlers up to age 3 are cared for in room 113/114. Greeters can show you where these rooms are located. Please sign your child in. Children are invited to participate in fun, age-focused play. Our nursery and toddler care givers are fully trained and have received background checks according to our Safe Church policy. There is infant and toddler care available at all of our services and daytime and evening meetings, Bible Studies, and other church events. |
sunday morningsEveryone begins in worship. After a children's time, kids and youth may go to Kids Club & Youth Sunday School.
Story and Play (4-6 Years) Little learners experience the comfort and love of Jesus through hands-on activities and stories written for their age group. At this age, they hear and begin to comprehend “Jesus loves me.” Elementary Faith (Grades 1-3) Play, story and projects are the vehicles for a journey through the Jesus story. At this age, they begin to learn Bible stories and basic faith concepts. Tweens In Action (Grades 4th & 5th) This class focuses on community service projects based on a bible story that are decided on by the tweens, planned and done. At this age, they start to ask great questions connecting faith and actions. You can register your child here. |
