Something profound happens when we study, ask questions, serve and wonder aloud with others. There's more insight, wisdom, experience around the circle then we usually have in our individual life. When we connect with each other on a deeper level, the growth and life change that results is powerful. We serve our community together. We care for each other.
ALL groups are drop-in friendly. Check out the dynamics and content of the group free of commitment or RSVP.

Mondays, 6:30-7:30p | Room 143 & Zoom Monday Night Bible Study Discussions restart on Monday, March 7 at 6:30 pm. We have made our way slowly through the Old Testament and we will begin anew by having a couple of discussions on what is known as the “Intertestamental Period.” This period roughly corresponds to the time between the last Old Testament book written and the birth of Jesus. We do not always pay much attention to this period, yet there is plenty to discuss about the events in Israel that helps our own spiritual discernment. After these discussions we will dive into the world of the gospels. Our format is to have short, manageable readings (often we read selections together instead of beforehand) and discuss what is going on in the text, in the time period, in the social world, in religious practices, how we think about these issues today, what does it all mean for us now, etc. No need to sign up, just show up, and join us in lively discussions (bonus! I’m getting better at including visual aids). Invite a friend to accompany you when they can and join us for the hard questions, quirky comments, and fun fellowship. TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly)
Fridays @ 10a | Green Room/ Choir Room TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is an international organization started in 1948 with local chapters. Our chapter has a policy of being positive in everything we do and it has been operating since 2014. We are a tight knit group (like petals on a flower - we're called "Petal Pals) but friendly and welcoming to new members. We support and encourage one another on our journey to losing weight and getting healthier. We meet in the Green Room on Friday mornings at 10 (or between 9:20 and 9:50 for optional weigh-in). We start our meeting with a check-in from each attendee, have a program on a health-related topic presented by a member and finish up by 11. We play games and have contests, having fun as we learn how to navigate this road. National dues are $37 annually plus a $5 monthly chapter fee but you can check us out for free any Friday morning We'd love to see you and welcome you into our "bouquet". Contact: Judy Haedt |
